Sagres will be always connected to the Portuguese Descoveries and its connection to the sea, since it was the place chosen by Infante D.Henrique as ideal for his ships and sea trade.
Here you can find several dishes made from the sea, like monkfish, sole, swordfish, sea bream, octopus, squid, oysters, crab and other mollusks and fish. This can be served in many different ways, like stewed, boiled, grilled and roasted.
